Actual chances aside and hypothetically: how does society respond in the first 1-3 months of confirmed aliens? Feels like there would be a large existential crisis to some extent.

Buy: SpaceX secondaries now to hedge that long tail event + some acres of farmland somewhere remote. Depending on their tech everything digital may be insecure so start by securing your food supply?
