People who are saying that Tucker is missing the point about Russia are right, no one want to live there, it's terrible (same with dubai, etc.), his point is still valid: the US can't get those small things right and the reason so imo that no one cares to work at the gov and all the good people end up being in sv/ws

There's a world where people graduate from sv/ws and come to the gov and get an insanely huge project with great autonomy, people will blame the gov but I blame people in sv and ws, do you think robert moses would've cared whether some dump bureaucrats want him there or not, he'll find his way to the palce

It's everything wrong with the modern world in one place, it's just one big shopping mall, i don't understand what's there or why people like it. bad weather (like unlivable), bad culture and very expensive.

Instead of comparing US and Russia you can check any countries were the government is “the most precious job”.

They got it wrong as well, might get it wrong more often, for different reasons

Small things need to be better,  but Moscow has good quality of life not due to lots of people wanting to work at the gov. Same with Dubai I believe.
