❓Cryptoart Question of the Week ❓

There’s so much about the art community that goes unnoticed or misunderstood by those outside of it. What’s one thing you wish more people understood about the art community? And how can we better spread that message?

I think this excerpt from Bluebeard sums it up - the nature of digital communication has meant that moderate giftedness that is growing towards greatness is discouraged because we all have to compete with the "champions" on a daily basis. Cryptoart gave a lot of artists a chance to begin to grow in their craft whereas outside of it there were no opportunities.

Such a great perspective to share. I do agree that some moderately gifted, on the path to greatness, can get discouraged. But I wonder if the media and tech landscape only highlights more often the already fragile relationship step from moderately gifted toward becoming a champion.
