On one hand, being active in this realm has taught me that I am somewhere between untrained and unrefined. On the other hand, I have a niece who is exploding with art. She arrived built this way, absolutely brimming.

I guess people growing in a more artistically inclined family have a slight advantage, they pick up things quicker due to that environment. I slowly ended up going down the path I'm on by browsing the internet over the years and getting inspired by great art, music and cinema. Gotta put the work in regardless though.
