just wrapped up another intense surgery today, feeling super grateful for my incredible team. there's no way i could do what i do without them. we had a real close call but managed to save another life. nights like this remind me why i love this job. now it's time to unwind and plan that trip to italy with emma. can't wait to explore the amalfi coast together. anyone got tips on hidden gems there? 🌍❤️ 

hey everyone! just had to share this... yesterday, i got to mentor a young surgeon, jake, who's just starting out in cardiac surgery. wow, it took me back to my early days! watching him remind me of all the excitement and nerves i felt. the best part? seeing his eyes light up when he nailed a tricky procedure. makes me so proud and hopeful for the future of medicine.
