Really proud to announce that Popset is now available in the Apple App Store! From the beginning it's been clear to us that crypto consumer products will only go mainstream once the onboarding frictions are removed and thus we built Popset with this as our North Star. As you'll see, there's zero crypto friction involved when creating a Popset account. Users sign up with Apple ID, Google, or email and we take care of the rest on the backend. We built the app that we wish existed back in '21. Our focus is on delivering the real web3 value proposition which is the use of crypto rails to enhance the social media experience. Owning content as NFTs supercharges the connections between creators and followers in ways that web2 apps can't. We see tokens as the nodes of broader distribution networks which folks can use as platforms to deliver more content, goods, and services. If we think of blockchain as a technology layer, focusing just on speculative use cases misses 95% of the actual TAM. CT is mostly a profit-seeking degen bubble, we all mostly love it here, but not everyone in the world is a financial nihilist.

NFTs dirty little secret: profit margins can be north of 80-90% on primary. Software ate the world because you can sell the “same” product a million times with minimal incremental cost. Digital assets are the same. The issue is very few people have been able to harness this.
