I'd trim off the truly dead parts and then try to change what you think killed it in the first place. I can't tell what plant it is but you might be able to cut and propagate it depending on what it is.

For example: Too much sunlight and too little water? Add more water and move it to bright indirect light while it recovers. Bugs and fungus stuff? @dawufi talked about mosquito bits before! I like using neem oil but it does stink like poop.
