What should we do when there's a duplicate?

My plan is to
- reduce daily rewards quite a bit
- withdraw 50%
- pair it with ETH for some LP
- make my token worth something

but I don't want to do it with one and mess up on the other

you have control of the entire supply. so yes, you can withdraw it all and create an LP with whatever % you choose and then deposit back to continue distributing.

we’re considering auto lp creation in the future too!

Yep, they are launched on Base. And yes, they could have some value. It works just as any other memecoin works: if people like the meme and think it will grow in attention, they would speculate on it.

Are these tokens on the BASE network? In the future, could they have some value? How would that be?

Ah, so a Round is created when the token is? And rewards are only paid out while that Round is active?

yep - you can do anything you want with *your* tokens. 

and yep, rewards start as soon as it is created. of course you can always pause, change the round, etc. admin is available through rounds.wtf!

It won't work as intended for a channel in public mode unless there's setting that let's you select moderators, allowlist specific members, or other criteria.

everything works better when a channel is highly curated or gated. in public mode, you'd still have members (not the public) deciding who gets rewarded. 

also: rounds support moderation and setting specific criteria (media, mints, tags, etc).

Not really since once you give out any token, anyone can create an LP for it regardless of them having just 1 token. 

You do control all the supply so you're free to do so as you please with it. fwiw, i don't think speculating on it is bad. but it def comes second to actually making a meme good.

if one is made, is it possible to block an lp from ever being created? or once it's out there, anything can happen? i like the idea of just a "for fun" reward without speculation. been going back and forth on my feelings about this since the idea was mentioned
