we kind of did an A/B here - claim flow led to more coverage for us + longer retention to the product by at least 12 % week on week. Airdropping directly to wallets seems to work if you're dropping to an OG community such as pudgies - to get into their eyes Curious why you dont want to push for claim?

The why is imp to me. Airdrops that come because of my Farcaster OG NFT are a lot cooler than being randomly picked. Usually get that clarity from the claiming step - but if my wallet could tell me that, that'd be cool too.

No way - people don’t like doing shit generally. An alternative would be adding a reward to claiming while still airdropping afterwards to those who didn’t claim. This alternative still doesn’t produce the same hype without the right marketing.

Claim gives you a sense of achievement while if it's directly given and a notification pops up about it. I guess that can be one way to look at it. Like rounds mention you that you're earning rewards. This one can be a similar bot mentioning you here that X token/nft has been dropped to you & is legit. One way. 🤔
