Any reason why Nouns isn’t considering an Austrian Association under MiCA instead? This was a novel solution that I’m happy to connect you two the right people.

Makes a ton of sense. Neil (doc director for nouns doc) currently exploring a doc on this legislation. He’s a great resource as well.

The key points are in the pic. For those who don’t know, Builder DAO has been a Wyoming UNA (the precursor to the DUNA) since launch. 

And there were A LOT of issues in the beginning with folks outside the US who weren’t aware of the structure when joining. We did offer a brief opportunity to buy out tokens of those who weren’t comfortable with the new structure. (Info about BuilderDAO’s legal structure can be found in our About section)

I like the idea of getting rid of the fork. The arb & idea of “book value” has never sat well with me. Proportional exit is better. 

A lot of you are not going to like the KYC for grants. So one question I have @seneca is how will you handle rounds? For our grants we do require KYC before distribution for anything over $600 usd. 

Overall, I think this is a good move but it will not be without its challenges.
