Yet, somehow cut short by the practical callings of a domestic life shared and seasoned with sweat and toil of hours that flashed by and days that just melted away in pursuit of the shared future they’d seen together. The puppet mistress sits upon her starry throne, her dulcet directives ruling over us all, with subtle strings of silver that cause the rise and fall of tides and of tempers, of men and their monsters.
