Now that everyone is thinking about branding - open question, what do you think we should call our upcoming wallet & farcaster client? Was leaning towards a new brand (Zappy) bc a lot of people associate Zapper with DeFi and portfolio tracking. It’s also a separate product with different features, calling it something like "Zapper Wallet" felt confusing.

It still has a lot of Zapper! But the product angle is quite different I see it similarly to how Foundation spun out a new brand like Rodeo

just zapper imo y'all have come very far since the days of zapper being "just a portfolio tracker" - ever since the expansion into full on "social block explorer", i've thought of zapper more as a block explorer than a portfolio tracker sure, it does a bit of both, but that's the point! it feels natural to me to build a mobile app → still call it zapper → have new features that are mobile app specific (ie. the farcaster stuff)

I would stay the course on using the same brand, maybe as a just a different product? If the belief is that Wallets become the "everything app", most features will end up consolidating in the app and sub branding might be weird. Like Google and Apple, keep it simple {Name} - {product)

What will your client do? Is it separate from what zapper.fi already does? Would it ever make sense to have a Zapper app (like zapper.fi) and whatever this client will be?

Zappy sounds like a good choice. It’s catchy and makes it clear it’s something new, not just another Zapper product. What do you think?
