I almost got blown up for the United States while in Afghanistan. 

I think about this a lot as I watch how the government treats our allies and our citizens these days. 

I know this piece of media has an agenda (like every other piece of media) and that Farcasters like to stay in their cozy bubble, but between the plain clothes abductions, the admin attacking Harvard’s tax exempt status, and the goofy ass supervillain gilding of the Oval Office I seriously urge you to consider the fact that we might be in for a bad time pretty soon.

the cruelty, constitutional crisis, isolation of allies, and fall of the dollar as the reserve currency has many of us who served our country going through the stages of grief rn

There are only two reasons a country would do this intentionally, even to a mortal enemy:
1. Trying to end a shooting war
2. Trying to start one.

Even if the tariffs end now, the US is going to feel supply chain pain worse than the start of Covid for at least a few months
