I think the problems created by crypto are far outpacing the solutions it's supposed to offer. Regulation can help deter bad actors but paradoxically it seems contrarian to the ethos of decentralized finance. Maybe crypto will be a solution when we collectively lose faith in banks and governments?

I think we’ll see more benefit when people begin to seriously earn livings in the creator economy via crypto rails, especially in unbanked corners of the world. Then people won’t use it directly as an investment vehicle, but as an income vehicle with the opportunity for investment

I could see this happening sooner than banks and governments losing public trust. Though AI shakes up a lot of what it means to both create and consume nowadays. I really do hope artists and creators are amongst the last to feel displaced as "work" is redefined in the next few years.

Exactly, I think the creator economics can really speed up the timeline, though we’ll see what happens with the broader ecosystem as the political system is shaken up Yeah, agreed. I think it will be tough, because we’ll have to continue demonstrating the “human value” side of things, rather than purely quality. Sure, an AI can generate a “photo” of a mountain, but hearing the story of the photographer that climbed it ~feels~ much more human; the empathy and story evokes more emotion in the consumer But maybe I’m biased as a photographer 😂
