Steve Jobs was not in founders' mode. He had a vision and was in Ruthless Asshole Mode! The same is true for all the VERY successful entrepreneurs. Founders' mode is a big politically-correct distraction from what actually counts: having big balls, a big vision, and being absolutely ruthless to achieve it.
