Anyone actually recording “life events” with AVP? 

Seems incredibly after the fact but terrible in the moment. 

Alternative is just the vr mode on iPhone 15?

My father celebrated his 80th birthday a few weeks ago. 
I took the opportunity to take the first 3D photo of the family that was able to attend in the hope that it will be worth something more than the awkwardness of having a friend take a photo with my AVP strapped to her face

I'm hoping iPhone 16 Pro has 4K spatial video recording.  iPhone 15 Pro is only 1080P I believe.

We got a kitten recently so I’ve been capturing him in 3d via AVP. Pretty incredible, curious when iPhones will be able to capture the content in high quality
