SIC’s origins map back to @fwb, where experiments with building for the community’s needs yielded ideas like a token-gated RSVP platform after 100+ people tried to buy $FWB tokens from their phones while trying to hustle their way into the DAO’s first-ever IRL event.

The dynamic relationships between individuals, their onchain assets, and the experiences that cultivate community are an incredibly powerful set of forces that we believe haven’t fully been harmonized to date.

Healthy economies require more than just an open ledger of who owns what. We’ve seen the early impact of putting money, art, music and more onchain. Capturing the next layer up – the interplay between information, assets, and access – is what SIC is focused on.
