Misinformation was flying rampant when this happened. Engagement hunting suits fast clicks and impulsive rage-bait. People claimed quickly that Bankless made off like bandits but none of it was true.

Ethereum is the by far largest onchain economy, eclipsing every other chain *combined*, including Bitcoin. And that growing economy empirically revolves around ETH. So ETH.D at a mere ~12% is either proof that we live in a clown world or a no-brainer investment opportunity.

Ethereum is for creating trustless systems that survive adversarial conditions. It is not an insult to Lido to think adversarially: - If 33% of Ethereum stake misbehaves, we need to rely on inactivity leak to fix the problem. - Lido operators have 28% of stake.

I heard from a source recently that the US Forest Service spends 40 percent of its budget complying with various permitting requirements: NEPA, procedural aspects of the ESA, etc.

Unusual Shorting Activity, Ethereum Underperformance, and the greatest short squeeze of all-time The recent cycle has seen large crypto market participants less inclined to speculate on ETH's price. Instead, they've been leveraging ETH primarily as collateral for other financial

Our recent open world gameplay trailer received over 150 M impressions and 2 million views, with over 30K posts, and trended globally on X for > 24 hours. We entered the beginning of the year with very few people in Web3 gaming knowing Wilder World.

Honestly, the Uniswap UX has gotten substantially better. You can sign in and see your balances across your entire portfolio and then swap assets across any network. Chain abstraction is here today.

Even though I disagree with several of the characterizations/conclusions, I strongly support the Ethereum community having more openly critical conversations to improve the ecosystem.

If you starting a smart contract dev journey, I’d recommend EVM first. Many concepts are universal: bitmaps, signature safety, merkle trees, endianness. EVM has a gentler learning slope and Solidity is pretty neat to write. You can speed run other VMs later if you like.

The WOW Summit CEO added that Hong Kong’s stablecoin policy, which requires issuers of stablecoins to acquire licenses and keep their fiat reserves in local Hong Kong banks, promotes trust and transparency in the nascent asset sector.

so pectra is still the largest upgrade in ethereum's history by number of eips, at now 11 eips, the second largest was the byzantium upgrade containing 9 eips. it's still a risky upgrade no matter how you split it, which

Before anyone says "The UK/USA is worse!", that doesn't negate criticism towards another government. Also, I didn't see one response in the thread from people born and raised in the UAE. Just those who have temporarily or permanently moved there who the government caters to.

After a gas increase asap, we need more conversation about an ongoing increase path Disorganized cat herding for years, & making no changes in 4 years is a bad process Base case should be to slowly & systematically increase gas Keeping it even flat is actively decel

The Pectra upgrade uses a concept called system contracts. This is an approach we used EIP-4788 for the Beacon block root in the EVM for the Dencun upgrade. The Pectra upgrade introduces atleast 3 new system contracts, i.e for consolidations, withdrawals and blockhash lookup.

The coolest part about crypto is that nobody cares about your age, education, or where you're from. No one gives a fuck about appealing to authority either. Build something useful that people want, educate, or entertain. No college degree required.

Imo, there's a lot of cool things happening in the sequencing and pre-confs space across many teams. There will be a mega improvement in UX if we can get this right for devs and users. Makes me convicted on the longevity of the modular thesis in a way, as well.

Iran was once a bastion of religious liberty. But that changed with the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Alongside Jews and Baha'is, Iranian Christians immediately began to face widespread and rampant persecution. Christian and Catholic leaders were killed, detained, or forced to
