@unclehodl.eth was explaining it like its a dividend in a sense, which I really love - I can buy shares in an account that I think will grow in value (ex. @burrrrrberry) and get rewarded for it makes 100% sense to me honestly, way more than any other creator token mechanism I have seen in the past
