Why aren’t there more onchain things like Loot now that blockspace is cheap? Speculative mania aside, where did some of the experimental / tinkerer output go?

This has been on my and a few others mind recently. I think it boils down to the general attention moving away from art. There are still folks who like to have fun onchain but it’s mostly seen as a “maxi” thing. Nobody cares their art is ruggable, contracts are composable, etc. https://warpcast.com/sayangel/0xa188ea79

The experimental creative tinkering is what brought me into this space and I will do my part to try and bring more of that energy to FC. If I can do even a tiny inkling of the inspiring and novel mechanism exploration folks like Dom did I’d be very happy. Trying with @harmonybot!

Where did they go? Some went down the AI rabbit hole. Some went into hardware. Some went into graphics. Others are still in crypto but don’t really get attention. That class of tinkerer thrives on novel constrained platforms. Constraint breeds creativity and attention fuels experimentation. We lost the attention.
