“What are you doing to help small accounts on Farcaster?” We have a lot more work to do, but here’s what we’ve done in the last few months to improve: 1. Moved initial feeds away from a follow-based model to algorithmic and interest-based model 2. A daily set of boosted accounts with <10K followers 3. USDC rewards normalized by followers 4. A bunch of experiments and tweaks to improve the home feed to show interesting casts from people you don’t follow yet More to come!

Glad you guys are working on this important point. Any plan on completely removing power badges so new users can get moderated to the main feed in channels?

Channels are changing soon. Power badge is gone but some of the channels might still have moderation settings based on it (available via other parties). Take it up with the channel owner / moderator if you think their moderation choice could be improved. They are in control.

okay. can you make it so /warpcast channel which is, according to its own description a place for user feedback, actually show a wider range of actual user feeedback, not just a curated select class of folks who only say nice things? would probably be more useful if thay is in fact the purpose, as is stated

casts in that channel which get much more real engagement than the ones that do show up in the main feed consistently are not visible to anyone outside of said casters own followers. which sort of defeats the stated purpose innit?

just like you said. but i see a different part of it that yall seem to ignore. in fact the other day virtually the entire platform unified more or less over a similar message. interesting content etc etc sure. but there are underlying obstacles also that are severe that exist and almost all of us see it plainly every day and have been trying to get it taken seriously for many months.
