Perplexity was way better at helping me debug Google Sheets API related code then claude. Don't be single minded in what AI tooling you use, it's tooling 🫡 you're the craftsman. Apply the tooling, don't become the tooling.

applies even more with new OpenAI models just now out. Monthly sub and being able to switch so quickly seems very user friendly and AI companies have enough funding, but I doubt that will be sustainable

one tool being marginally better at a given task than another doesn't justify paying $20/month for both imo

why i bought a year of poe. it's easy to use several ais to get a task done
