nouns tokens should be treated primarily as experiments. as such, they should be executed on top of the current structure first and not be internalized to begin with. no one truly knows how these things play out. test, iterate and integrate once we know what works makes sense imo. startup mindset

this is one of the reflections i have after trying to build consensus around $nouns for the past few weeks / 
months

which made me wonder what things you really need dao consensus for. if you need funding or you need the dao to deploy then ofc

but maybe $nouns could get started without?

I was thinking the DAO would kickstart the liquidity using idle nouns and eth in the treasury (which it would then generate revenue on trade fees from). To your point, community members could do it on their own, but I hear @sams point too that it feels less bullish if it’s not official.

I think it’s worse from a legal perspective if the DAO were to directly provide liquidity to the pool which is why the verbs team advised against it? 

Hopefully the regulatory climate changes soon though because yeah that would make a ton of sense

Interesting. I hadn’t heard the legal perspective that there was anything wrong with LPing. Bad news for lots of people and projects if so, especially if even projects as decentralized as nouns feel it’s too risky.
