Your core team should seek to delegate responsibilities over time, everything you do should be replicable by someone else and your systems and documentation should reflect that.

Delegation is useful true but some tasks need core team control for security and quality. For example, handling sensitive data or making key updates shouldn’t be handed off too easily imo.
