stick to the live stuff 5/8/77 is the classic dead-pill show. this was the CD-R that was given to me by a friend in high school and changed my life 8/27/72 is another one from an earlier more upbeat jazzier time. some good lore behind this show too (https://www.klcc.org/news/2022-08-26/august-27-1972-the-day-the-grateful-dead-saved-springfield-creamery)
