Saw this - honestly makes sense from a recruiting perspective. The schools and grades I disagree with a bit, but I can tell this is an agency 

The reason for the schools is that if the client declines a candidate, the agency can go “oh, but they went to XYZ school!”. Kinda feel like they’re taking advantage of the naivety of their clients.

Maybe. Some clients could be snobby . But I’ve been the first recruiter 3x at YC, sv angel et al startups and we never had school as a requirement

I see — so by your estimation the hiring co is not aware of these reqs? That’s mildly evil if so
