When I worked a corporate job I used to be paranoid about not performing, so I used to make lists everyday on what I did. From 9:30-9:35am would be my goal setting time (30 min after start time, so I could settle into work). Then from 4:50-4:55pm, I would write out what I accomplished (5min before end time - enough that my ceo could give me quick notes but would feel guilty about telling me to fix anything at eod). I’ve been thinking about when I did my best work and realized how much this benefitted me. Yeah it came from a place of paranoia at first but then it became a self-sufficient cycle of internal motivation. So much satisfaction checking off my little list everyday. https://warpcast.com/samantha/0x5f52445d

would you send the final list to your boss? I badly need to do the goal setting list in the am. My workload has skyrocketed lately and I am a victim of circumstance lately.

Paranoia turned into process. Process turned into momentum. Momentum turned into pride. Funny how fear can accidentally build your best habits
