With Github (et el) as vast pools of code to train on, the LLM’s have been trained on an awful lot of insecure code patterns, they may be “treating as gospel” and dutifully replicating, to the unsuspecting copy-pasta-coder. — (Man, this symbiotic feedback amplifier loop between the output of human brains 🧠 and LLMs is so fascinating to watch play out in near realtime these days! 🍿)
