the trenches today have shifted—it's a game driven by insiders, bubble maps, and wallet tracking

introducing Yapster — a native mobile app that turns the solana trenches into a live, competitive game 🕹️

so how does the game actually work?

each day, players submit their best meme/ticker along with a small SOL buy-in — and that's your ticket into the live game

when the countdown hits 0, the real action begins

during the live game, players are given a 1,000 credits per round to bet on the memes they think will win

swipe through memes to explore, and hold down to assign your credits like this:

assign your credits quickly to the best memes for a higher score 

the lowest-scoring players and least popular memes are eliminated

and the next round begins

after the final round, players vote on whether to launch the winning meme as a token

if the vote passes:
• the SOL in the prize pool becomes liquidity along with 20% of the token supply
• 80% of the tokens are distributed to players and creators based on in-game performance

if the player vote fails
• no token is launched
• the SOL prize pool is distributed to top players and creators, scaled by their rankings

so why'd we build yapster?

memecoins are fun, but there are some major problems:
✖️ the trenches favor insiders over culture and taste
✖️ bots / snipers control a large % of token supply
✖️ small cap tokens are incredibly illiquid

yapster solves this by:
✔️ gamifying meme discovery
✔️ distributing tokens to everyone based on in-game performance
✔️ launching the winning meme with initial liquidity
