I think the questions work but the US cultural attitude towards work/money I think is quite diff to other places so the answers you get from non-US people may skew results. Given your kids are ‘swimming’ in the US context you prob want people in same pool. 
eg. Don’t know what private school like in US but..

Ours are basically the same curriculum just better facilities. Teaching same - some gd some average. Parents think all ‘the best’ teaches are in private schools but 💯 not the case.
