I think the “Farcaster is too nice” take stems from a confusion of thoughtfulness for niceness, and the clear dearth of both on the bird app.

Does anyone think FC is too nice? I asked a question about this recently and no one seems to feel that way. I wonder if it is possible to have a network of that scale that remains thoughtful and nice. What would be needed to achieve that?

As things grow, there's an increase in anonymity. I think with anonymity is when you have people thinking they can get away with whatever including rudeness so 🤷♀️

Agreed but there are some really insightful anon accounts that might not exist if not anon. Specifically thinking about stripmallguy and related. Probably the exception though
