The U.S. leads the bitcoin arms race, but not by much.

Companies buy bitcoin for the same reason people do. And for the same reason governments will.

In 2024, public corporations purchased twice as much bitcoin as all prior years combined. These 70+ companies now own a combined $52 billion worth of bitcoin (3% of the total supply)

The market is grossly underestimating the long-term impact of the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

Those who think the U.S. establishing a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve is underwhelming are failing to see the big picture. The end game was never “the U.S. government buys all of the world’s bitcoin.” A U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve means… - Other countries will buy bitcoin - Wealth managers have no excuse - Financial institutions have no excuse - Pensions/Endowments have no excuse - Fear of the U.S. selling is gone - The U.S. will likely buy more - Likelihood of states buying just went up - Probability the government outlaws Bitcoin is definitively zero This changes everything. Zoom out.

Heading into 2025, we listed potential positive and negative catalyst. Eight weeks in we’ve hit almost every negative catalyst on the list.

Bitcoin started and ended the week at $94,000. In between, it fell, then rallied 20%.

So our team just presented the case for bitcoin to 350 wealth managers (JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, etc.). 53% plan to allocate to crypto in client accounts (including 33% in the next six months). Memecoin nonsense can’t stop this train.

Just had coffee with a multi-billion dollar wealth management team. In their personal accounts, they own Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and more. But they cant allocate to any of those in their client’s portfolios. They want to, but they aren’t allowed to.

You’re worried about tariffs when… - The US is making crypto a national priority - The Gensler/Biden-era crackdown is over - Corporations are buying Bitcoin - Governments are going to start buying Bitcoin - Blackrock wants to tokenize the world - Companies are launching L2s
