Before I threw myself in to painting I started out doing digital manipulations of photos that I would take. This one is called Low Tide Rocks. It's a peaceful memory for me. I had just gotten back into Photography after an 11 year art block and diagnosed with Glaucoma which took my right eye's sight. I remember standing on this beach and hearing my kids laugh in the background as the tide was going out over my feet and seeing all the different rocks and shapes. It's something that even if I do lose my eye sight completely that I'll always have this moment as a memory. The sounds of my kids laughing and having fun and the squishy feeling between my toes. Physical print of this hangs in a friend of Paris Hiltons house in Colorado.
