- The power of Geography by Tim Marshall can be an intro/easy read for the subject. - Upheaval by Jared Diamond is a book I read a while ago but I quite enjoyed it. There are a few other books from him you might be interested in checking out. - Why the west rules for now by Ian Morris - Why nations fail by Daron Acemoğlu and James A. Robinson

Pretty good advice from this book for people (like myself) navigating/working/investing in stocks (but also in crypto) and how to have peace while doing it. I listened to it on Audible but might get a physical copy

Just finished this book. It was strange to begin with but then I kinda gradually like it at the end. Anyone read it and can share their thoughts?

I read the chinese version and the characters def were kinda dry and lack dimensionality! I felt like I finished the trilogy with the story being so mind blowing but don’t have much impression in most of the characters

I love the trilogy and I am super excited! Watched 5 episodes tonight I think Netflix did a good job making all the characters more interesting than in the book?

The skiff situation is a good reminder of why decentralized ecosystems are so valuable. Challenge question @dwr.eth @v : how far along is Farcaster in this regard? If hypothetically your team got acquihired by Facebook (or Tencent, or...) tomorrow, how well would the ecosystem be able to keep going?

The Three Body Problem trilogy by Liu Cixin is thought provoking, insightful and changed the way I see the universe in some ways. There are some unique concepts in it but the story is also very much about human being, history, science and philosophy. A bit hard to get into at start but once you're in it you are good.

Agree! The one that broke this norm is The three body problem trilogy. The 2nd book was a bit slow but then it exceeded my expectation, and the 3rd one was an absolutely brilliant ending!
