This game was a lot of fun! My copy is utterly destroyed by now. It’s definitely a Stefan Feld game (6 separate mini games held together by a common connector, just Iike his earlier Castles of Burgundy). I haven’t played any of his later games (except the excellent CoB card game), have you?

Thematic games can open up people to conversations they’d never have otherwise. Name that game: 1) Random bird facts! 2) Wait, we can crash asteroids to jump start terraforming? 3) Wow, geography was critical to the development of England’s industry. 4) What’s special about a Simmental? 5) Why do all these Russians and British want Afghanistan anyway? 6) Man, optimizing a car factory is tough. 7) So is rebuilding a city after an earthquake. 8) Four COVIDs at once wtf!

Finally played Tamashii! The best part was the personal logic puzzle: Assemble programs you learn as you sneak around the AI-oppressed city, so you can cash them in for resources, bodies, abilities, and hack attacks The personal nature of this puzzle also prevents one player quarterbacking if you’re playing co-op
