I work in arts universities occasionally doing workshops and every time I even suggest teaching students how to code with AI they freak out, to those who've invested 20 years of their life into coding AI is such a threat to them that they won't even entertain the idea. Meanwhile I continue to do extra curricular sessions with teens who grasp it like they're riding a bike for the 20th time

Yes, the pickup among youth is really impressive. I did a one-hour "startup school" session at NYU last week about vibe coding your way to building a business as a non-technical founder. It's definitely more palatable among those without former engineering training (for now).
