Privacy coins didn’t pick up because we don’t use coins with fluctuating prices for payments at scale. Stablecoins won that one easily. So we’re left with implementing privacy tech for chains with the most stablecoin volume. Begs the question when we will bring back the vision of ditching the us dollar completely

So the tariffs are a lose lose for both countries. The question is who folds first under the pressure, hence who has the bigger treasury. Don’t know enough about the economics of US, Mexico, and Canada to make a prediction but my gut says the US got that one. Questionable is the approach to attack both countries at the same time. Just apply pressure on one of them and tell the other that they are next if they don’t cooperate. Why go to all out war right from bat? The US has enough enemies already.

I’m really curious how all the memecoin platforms handle the legal side of things. pump is usable in the US afaik. Clanker allows anybody with a Farcaster account to use it so no geofencing there either.

I believe this chart only tracks bridge flows (someone correct me if I’m wrong). So it doesn’t really show the full picture for Solana imo. Especially retail users will just buy Solana through exchanges. But what’s interesting is that @arbitrum lost $2B over the last 3 months while @base gained $2B+.

memecoins do not generate any value. It is just a transfer value from one fool to another. It is a zero-sum game. Should that be forbidden? No. Everybody can do what the heck they want with their own money. I don't care. But, for the love of god, stop comparing the financial platform that Ethereum built with the onchain casino that is Solana. PS. I am a fool myself. PPS. I'm still looking for the big UX difference between trading on Solana+Phantom and Base+Rainbow

What’s the big UX difference on Solana everybody’s talking about? Feels exactly the same as trading on base in terms of fees & liquidity. Only difference is that you don’t have to approve a token before executing a trade
