We support subcultures

Nounstown, and especially the day at secret walls, made that very explicit to me. 

But it took me gushing over charlixcx, pc music, dark souls, dreamhack, magic the gathering and more over a coffee w 40 to drive home the point.

(Almost) everything we do is rooted in subcultures w/o easy access to capital. It gives us a clear edge and reason to exist. Abundant capital flows to VCs and charities, but only Nouns have the unique position to support subcultures.

Animation shorts is a subculture. And toys, esports, and skiing. So it ethereum and hacker culture.

Creating a metaculture around actually financially supporting subcultures instead of expecting to consume them for free and for the benefit of monopolies like TikTok and Meta seems like a potent movement.
