If we care about what we say we care about, the cost of losing is HIGH.

Also it’s hard to stay progressive if you’re losing in life.

although, I don't think it can be done through assimilation or degradation of the criteria (e.g. simple majority vs 2/3rds).

the moderate impression of deep-left politics is that it is a dissident group waiting for bureaucratic floodgates to open at the highest level of authority, but nobody knows where the water's going to flow.

there are many wins at the local level, and there need to be more, and this should be the coherent narrative on social media, that there is a movement with common leadership, which is the value proposition of republics to begin with.

leftists need more kitchen brigades and more communards, and fewer menus.
