Arbitrum and Optimism are parasitic to Ethereum in the same way Texas and California are parasitic to the U.S. (They're not) Btw the people arguing for more on the L1 aren't necessarily wrong imo. But that's more a question of states vs federal responsibilities - and it's a good conversation to have. I think Ethereum will graduate from its loose Articles of Confederation era to its unified Federal Constitution era. A United Chains of Ethereum.

Love the analogy! I hope it works out this way. We need a strong eth fer as well as strong and interacting eth states. That would make for a great eth-os.
