“You should take the whole video down” Some people absolutely hated our AI Tokens and Narrative Investing podcast. What did you think?

Interesting responses. hadn't listened to it bc I thought this is not your core expertise. Love you for most of what you explore and podcast though.

I don't have a problem with the AI token episode, even though I didn't get a whole lot out of it. You shouldn't expect people to be ok with having a divisive person like RFK jr on. No amount of "we're not a political podcast" changes the fact that you're giving free air time to a very controversial politician.

Didn't take it too seriously, I think its nice to get a few David led Casino episodes every now and again + I liked the overview of prev Bulls, what thesis did well then and your guys' opinions on what you think will do well this time. A few huge NOT INVESTMENT ADVISE episodes is good fast food crypto content🐢

It was great. Listened to the whole thing. Thought it was a really interesting walk through on narrative trading.

It was an interesting pov that the crypto industry is like going to do to AI what it did with everything before it. Make it a memecoin. Then, maybe, crypto can balance the centralizing force that is AI training data. Now, there was a lot of fluff.

The way someone expresses themselves can reveal a lot about their intentions. This doesn't sound like well-intended, constructive feedback. I'd suggest to give more weight to voices that actually communicate their thoughts in a clear, respectful manner. Expressed like this, chances are high that it's just noise.

I wonder if critics understand how often fancy VCs fund startups on narrative alone. Some people are just not mentally prepared for mark-to-market VC style investing that crypto opens up to the average joe. Narrative investing is just venture capital with fewer steps.

Before I've been critical of how you handled criticism (in my view - get mad at/engage with obvious baits & ignore fair criticism). So it is only fair to give you props on this one. Even though the above just says "You don't know enough", you looked past that in search of actionable feedback!

RFK frustrates the shit out of me, but a five minute interview as he walks by seems fine. The narrative investing piece was a great reminder of how the WSB crew operates. I've been buying into crypto-AI fundamentals since the Golem ICO in 2016, but that's still not how those markets work. Narratives are stronger.

I skipped this one as it felt too focused on the hype rather than the tech/real applications. Am usually a fan though

I find it helpful to hear you two think through these things out loud, regardless of the substance. You’re not forcing anyone to listen. Really hate the “this is absolute garbage” take from people who are free to turn it off at any time.

If an Uber driver gave an his honest heartfelt review of attendees at a narrative trading conference I doubt “weirdly pacifist and revolutionary at the same time” would be used to describe them. But just remember “If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too“
