I'm starting to get into bouldering. For the climbers: Other than doing the thing, any YouTube channels or resources I should dive into to get better?

pay attention to the young kids and women climbers! They can do incredible things. Slow and steady and great technique! No need to muscle your way up things, especially in the beginning.

Firstly focus on technique and healthy joints. If you feel any aches in your elbow or fingers treat it with respect and see a physio. The biggest thing hindering progress is chronic injuries, elbow tendotitis, finger synovitis. Correcting technique and reducing impact on joints is most important. Otherwise enjoy, climbing is natural and youโ€™ll learn very quickly how to climb reasonably well. If you want to progress from there, Iโ€™d video yourself often. Post here for feedback! And review your own footage. Repeat easier climbs religiously and try and make it feel more balanced, fluid and less powerful. This prioritises coordination of multiple joints, the โ€œfeelingโ€ of balance and using your body as whole rather than pulling with your upper body (which is the most common mistake for men first starting to boulder). Strength training is important at some point for protecting your joints but also to progress. Having a simple and low volume fingerboard routine after a few months isnโ€™t a bad thing.

Aside from the thing, practicing yoga and proper core strengthening routine will go a long way. Don't hangboard until your fingers have gone through the ringer.

Find some climbers on insta. Thereโ€™s a good range from beginners to champions to give you perspective of both. Only following experts can be interesting but discouraging and not helpful; beginners & coaches help you see the why behind the moves. Climbing/bouldering are problem solving as much as physical exercise.

Hang boards and grip strength. But really just lots of time on the wall. And all of the rest of the fitness related things (food, stretching etc)

The fact Magnus isn't mentioned yet is a crime. https://youtube.com/@magmidt?si=BQbqd9NE0HX2OCFV Started getting into it a while back myself, some great recommends in responses. Magnus has a certain pocket of content that entertains but you can also just passively watch where it doesn't per say feel like a tutorial video.
