the elephant in the room is that this behavior from an entrenched company is a perversion, plain and simple.
look where we started with reddit, and look where we are now.
this an appropriate time to pause & recall why people put so much into the internet, and that it wasn't for some low-trust, "fool-your-neighbor" propaganda.
if it doesn't affect anyone, and Aaron deserves to fade from living memory even where relevant, then consider me a "fucking moron".
something about this is deeply wrong to me, I'm not going to just ignore it like I'm cynically hunting for capital and nothing else. there must be an underlying purpose, and frankly, that journal's dissolution, and my antagonism of ita political beneficiaries, probably serves that purpose. and it shouldn't interfere with anyone else's business on this network. 1 reply
