You aren’t allowed to attempt to understand the effects of space junk or satellites in volume, or else they screech and call you a loser and a decel. I wouldn’t talk about this on X but here where it’s safer I can admit I do find it fascinating to learn about what we know of the second order effects of space progress One of the most interesting effects that’s posited is magnetic field weakening. https://www.space.com/rocket-launches-satellite-reentries-air-pollution-concerns

From the paper: > Therefore, perturbation of the magnetosphere from conductive satellites and their plasma dust layer should be expected and should be a field of intensive research. Human activity is not only impacting the atmosphere, it is clearly impacting the ionosphere. It's just a call for more research. Definitely something that we should do as space becomes more and more important to everyday life but its far from hockey stick graph doomerism https://arxiv.org/abs/2312.09329

oh I am definitely not trying to imply that. But ppl today feels like they suppress any research or discourage inquiry. You aren't allowed to talk about negatives or the possibility of them, period. There is already a lot of doomerism going around about the magnetic field independent of this
