As artists, we're not really "here for the money" if we were all about money, we'd do something other than art!! But someone investing in your art is soooo uplifting. Art isn't something people need. It's not a "must have" on their shopping list. A collector buys art because your work resonates with them. Collectors on @rodeodotclub give me exactly the buzz I need when people choose to collect my work albeit the money value is low, it's still being chosen and that is huge for me. I'm not a trending artist, I'm little known so every edition collected feels authentic.

And yes, I know there are some that speculate on art, but the number of artists that will make their collectors gains are very few compared to the majority like me.
