Bitcoin completes its 4th halving at block height 840,000 on April 20th! BTC block reward decreased from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC. Bitcoin is up nearly 647% since the previous halving. The next halving is scheduled for March 2028.

Intriguing to see how miner profitability adjusts with the reduced block reward. Maybe transaction fees will play a bigger role?
