I think Google is as good or better at the security, but ultimately their business model requires more compromises. 

And yes I know Apple has an ad biz.

Very subjective take . Haven’t seen anything better than search in gmail

I use Hey as my email frontend but I'm considering just going back to gmail because I can never find any emails in their app, I always have to open my gmail client to find past emails.
