V3 of those formulae - corrected to show that you just need to get your all time cast counts up if you want the majority of your reactions to be recognized by the allowance formula

Geez, thanks! Thinking of doing a deep dive into replyguys next - exactly what it takes to get your rank up a certain level, casts per day, how much time, reactions you need, etc. Thinking  a stats page to complement it showing what made you move up/down. Good catch, this is a fascinating implication of the way the formula works -- yes, it looks at the reaction timestamp, not your cast's timestamp!

did you find that there is an issue where the posts are grouped by the day someone liked them, instead of the day posts are made?

So when someone likes your old post, it surfaces it as a new post with 1 like?

I think that is what's happening...

Thanks for sharing, I'd like to clarify tho that it’s lifetime cast count that factors into choice of median, whereas daily cast count only matters indirectly insofar as more casts usually means more daily reactions, otherwise excellent summary and very diligent blog post.

You're 100% correct, I messed up! I have issued a V3 correction (same link) after I saw somebody else note the same thing - you just need to focus on your ALL TIME cast counts!

One question, does cast numbers count daily numbers? 
From the query, it didn't seem to conclusively indicate daily, and 1000 casts seems unrealistic to me, so I was thinking it might be cumulative. 
What led you to the conclusion that it was daily?

Nah as far as I can tell, pricing is not taken into account in these calcs.. I think at the end of the season they look at the numbers and adjust that final allowance modifier, though, to slow down supply growth

Does this take into account pricing of degen? That might affect the budget.
