when you talk about growing DAUs -- are they protocol level DAUs (i.e. writing to the protocol) or Warpcast level DAUs (could include users who are lurkers but don't write to the protocol)? 

(I imagine the former?)

I agree with 90 / 9 / 1 but that's not my question. My question is what DAU are you focused on growing -- Warpcast level or Farcaster level? Meaning if you are focused on growing Farcaster protocol level DAU, you're more focused on features that write to the protocol etc. etc.

The 90 lurk on mobile. So until there’s a robust mobile client alternative to Warpcast, Warpcast will drive most DAU.

I suspect the the first non Warpcast successes will be:

- a power user paid client like @supercast 
- a moddable open source client
- an app that does something totally different
