I respect this take — on balance I read much more nonfiction than fiction. But I will say that some of the most powerful and lasting lessons I’ve ever taken from reading have been from fiction books. 

The human mind is structured to understand and retain concepts through stories, and a well-told story even if fictional, can sometimes teach lessons about the real world more powerfully than just getting the raw information.

Agree. Mentioned the 912 specially because it's criminally unnoticed, yet it was one of the coolest editions.
